Established in 1993, Storhaug Engineering supplies an umbrella of primary services: civil engineering, land surveying, land use planning, and landscape architecture. Since the first day, our mission statement has followed this golden rule: to provide professional services to our clientele with respect, integrity, passion, attention to detail, and the on-going service we would expect if it was our own project.
The Storhaug Engineering team helps clients achieve their objectives, goals, and dreams. Your project’s success depends on our effective communication along with your “hands-on” involvement. This is why the vast majority of our customers come to us through referrals. As a result of these referrals we have provided services to several thousand clientele in the Pacific Northwest. Some have been architects, municipalities, land developers, utility companies, residential neighborhood developers, commercial development corporation, title companies, water districts, private homeowners, and contractors. Our projects have ranged from hundreds of square feet to thousands of acres, but it has been our outstanding level of service, superior communication skills, and expertise that have brought our clients back again and again.
OUR APPROACH
Storhaug Engineering has brought together a team of experienced professionals to offer our clients a multitude of disciplines. Having in-house the technical expertise to move a project from one phase to the next allows one project manager to stay involved for the entire duration of the project. As a project is initiated, we diligently work with our client to establish objectives, timeframes for completion, and set budgets. A project manager is established as a point person and liaison to our client, regulatory agencies, and team members. Each project manager leads a team of professionals assigned to each job. Each team is encouraged to provide input throughout the project, with ownership / pride shared by our team members. We strive to either meet or discuss project progression on a weekly basis with our client. Projects are peer reviewed in house on a weekly basis to assure that project goals, timeframes, communication, and budgets are being met.

Storhaug Engineering occupies a 7,000 square foot building located within the University District in Spokane. Our office located within just minutes of City Hall and other City Facilities. We have free parking, and several large conference rooms for conducting multiple clientele meetings.

Storhaug also has additional staff to bring on board for complex projects and a complete range of land development services. Our staff includes Civil Engineers, Land Planners, Engineering Technicians, Draftsman, and support staff. In addition, we commonly team with local geotechnical, traffic, and structural engineers, wetland biologists, wildlife ecologists, and other experts to provide our clients with outstanding turnkey service. We are always willing to do what it takes to help get our client’s jobs completed on time and on budget.
